Last night, as the sunset behind the apalachian mountains, we crossed the eastern continental divide one last time on our way towards Asheville. That's sort of poetic, because we will be crossing the western divide on our final day of driving next wednesday.
Today we are en route to the IN/ IL border. Not much hapening between here and there so it should be a pretty boring drive.
So far the dogs are being good, but we'll see how long that lasts. I think 6 hours is the max either one has ever traveled... so some 8 and 9 hour days are gonna be rough. Lukily I found some doggie mints to cut through their nasty morning breath!
